The Role:
Lenztech Surveying & Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our technical services team. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work on behalf of a leading Building Company based in Dublin and will work on residential, healthcare, education and commercial projects across Ireland. As the Quantity Surveyor support and guidance will be readily available through the Director and Commercial/Contracts Manager. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit different work-life preferences.
What You Will Do:
Preparing Bill of Quantities and cost estimates for new projects
Making sure that construction costs and production are management as efficiently as possible
Advise on building economics
Prepare valuations reflective of progress on-site for interim certificates
Value instructions and amounts for price variations
Prepare final accounts
Produce lifecycle cost estimates
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
Review design drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Prepare contract packages and tender documents
Skills:
Quantity Surveying Degree required
Proven experience with a minimum of 5 year experience in a consulting / site role
Strong communication and project management skills.
Excellent organizational skill and ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines.
