The Role:
Lenztech Surveying & Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the design, supervision, and monitoring of a variety of building projects across sectors including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Healthcare, and Civil Engineering. Projects will serve both public and private clients. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit different work-life preferences.
Who You Are:
You are an enthusiastic, diligent professional with a strong technical foundation in structural engineering and construction processes. You take ownership of your responsibilities and are comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
What You Will Do:
Develop design concepts from initial stages through to site supervision.
Design building structures in compliance with Eurocodes.
Apply strong knowledge of current building codes, regulations, and best practices.
Perform manual calculations and utilise engineering software such as Tekla, Master Series, AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit is desirable.
Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiently.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and review design drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Supervise and inspect works on-site, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
Prepare project reports and documentation.
Review contractor and design team proposals.
Assist with PSDP, Assigned Certifier, and Ancillary Certifier duties.
Skills
Structural Engineering expertise.
Knowledge of design software including Tekla, Master Series, and AutoCAD.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Experience with Eurocodes and building regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
